Colin and his friend, Ward Butler show up at Easling Park that evening. Colin Keary set out to acquire the Arabian for the Ringling circus. An ounce of courage. Rosamund comes down to the dinner party and there he is. She was a true humble woman who graced the circus world with her warmth and integrity.

Colin and his friend, Ward Butler show up at Easling Park that evening. The last and most important thing? There were a few slow bits like when Rosamund doubted herselfbut overall a good book to read and enjoy. I could hear the laughter of the children as they watched the clowns. I loved the history at the back of the book. I enjoyed reading about how Mable met John Ringling.

My Thoughts Kristy The ringmasters wife book has been a favorite of mine for some months now. I had very high expectations for this book, and Kristy did NOT disappoint! With a strong supporting cast of friends and familyincluding a nemesis or twothe women experience heartbreak, loss, hope, and triumph, all set against the colorful backdrop of the greatest show on Earth. A novel that is at once captivating, deeply poignant, and swirling with exquisite historical details of a bygone world, The Ringmaster's Wife will escort readers into the center ring, with its bright lights, exotic animals, and a dazzling performance that can only be described as the greatest show on earth! A woman of strength and compassion. Forced to team up with the newly formed FBI, Wren races against time and an unknown enemy, all to prove the innocence of a hated man.

She was content in being on the sidelines and doing things behind the scenes. The story's timeline jumps back and forth quite a bit, but is easy to follow. Her family is pressuring her to marry well, but the life she was born to holds little appeal.

All opinions expressed are mine alone. She loved the circus and knew how important it was to her husband. I loved The ringmasters wife book history at the back of the book. But in a public illusion that goes The ringmasters wife book wrong, one man is dead and another stands charged with his murder.

I loved how the author weaved history and fiction together to give us a story filled with sorrow, hope, expectations, trust, faithforgiveness and devotion. The novel is an intriguing look into circus life in the s. I thought it was too much and it took away from the story. What dangers will she face?

A leap of faith. I could hear the laughter of the children as they watched the clowns. Will Lady Rosamund give up a comfortable future for the thrills and magic of the circus, or will duty call her home in the end?

A novel that is at once captivating, deeply poignant, and swirling with exquisite historical details of a bygone world, The Ringmaster's Wife will escort readers into the center ring, with its bright lights, exotic animals, and a dazzling performance that can only be described as the Greatest Show on Earth!

Then an American Irishman, Colin, walks into her life. So it is no surprise that the these elements can be found on the pages of The Ringmaster's Wife.

Ringmasters (barbershop quartet)

At the end of the book it provides information on the Ringling Circus how it came about, the brothers, and the history. The last and most The ringmasters wife book thing? The author has written a story that gives us a glimpse into the circus life. There, the twenties are roaring, and the rich and famous gather at opulent, Gatsby-esque parties.

She lives in Indiana with her husband and three football-loving sons, where she can probably be bribed with a coconut mocha latte and a good Christian fiction read. Every page is filled with wonder and mystery. The ringmasters wife book there's something bigger at work than the two of us.

You were made to stand out. It has a Christian theme but it is very light focuses on forgiveness, trusting in God and his plan for our lives, redemption.

When Rosamund's path crosses with Mable's and The ringmasters wife book Ringlings' glittering world, she makes the life-altering decision to leave behind a comfortable future of estates and propriety, choosing instead the nomadic life of a trick rider in the Ringling Brothers' circus.

Goodreads My Thoughts Oh where to start on this one. Though once a blank canvas that was but an inkling of an idea for this talented author, the rich tapestry filling in that blank space is remarkable.Jun 20,  · The Ringmaster's Wife Book Review About the Book.
